Assalamu Alaikum friends, how are you all? I hope you are all doing well. I am well, Alhamdulillah, with your prayers. Before starting my blog, I would like to first inform you that I have a lot of respect and love for all the members of the steem Kids and Parents community. Today, I have appeared in the New contest Week50// Let's do it...Do It Yourself👉Craft, Creativity, Drawing, origami, DIY, Recycling and more competition with my cooking blog. Today, I will share a recipe with you. The recipe is the Pakan Pitha recipe. I don't know how many of you know this pitha. However, this pitha is a very popular pitha among us Bengalis. We often make this pitha during the winter season. I especially like this pitha very much. I have loved pitha since I was a child. This pitha can be made with jaggery and sugar. However, for me, it is more fun to make it with jaggery. When I saw this pitha as black in color when I was a child, I named this pitha Kali Pitha. Later, when I realized that the color of this pitha is black due to the jaggery and sometimes it becomes a beautiful brown color, I slowly learned to understand that the name of this pitha is Pakan Pitha. Who of you has eaten this pitha, please let me know in the comments.You do not need many ingredients to make this pitha. You can make it quickly with the things you have at home. So, without further ado, let me share with you how I made this pitha recipe.

The ingredients that I used to make Pakan Pitha are,

1Date jaggery
2Rice powder
3Wheat flour
4Salt
5Soybean oil

Step 1,

First, I sifted the rice powder and wheat flour well and mixed them together.

Then I added the date jaggery, the amount of which should be added according to the sweetness you like.

Then I added a little salt. Because adding a little salt to a sweet thing increases the sweetness a little.

Step 4,

Now I will slowly add water and knead the flour and jaggery mixture well.

Until the flour mixture becomes soft, add water slowly and knead it well.

Mix it with your hands in such a way that there are no grains.

My pitha mixture is ready, see how thick and thin it looks when you scoop it with a spoon. This mixture should not be too thick and should not be too thin either.

Step 8,

Now I have heated oil in a pan. The oil should be heated well and the pitha should be fried in oil.

Step 9,

When the oil is hot, I will add a spoonful of the pitha mixture. It should be round, but not too much. Because the pitha will swell again.

Step 10,

Fry the pitha for a while on medium heat. When it turns brown, remove it.
