Hello friends how are you all doing I feel to delighted to welcome you all to my blog here today, which of course I will be sharing with you all on the topic "Speaking skills"

Some random folks may ask why he or she should learn about speaking where every single day they are speaking and communicating with one another.

But truth be told, there's more to speaking than speaking itself, you know there are some people who would address a crowd and it sounds boring at the same time they are some people who would address the crowd and sparks the interest of the people listening.

So before we go deep into what speaking is all about let us first of all understand it's meaning

Speaking skills

This can be best describe as more of an ability than an act, so therefore speaking skills is the ability of an individual to be able to express his or her self vocally in a nice and catchy way that shows fluency and mastery.

Some of the conceptions involved in the development of speaking skills are;

• Comprehension
• Vocabulary
• Fluency

Comprehension

---

Comprehension in English simply means understanding, so therefore it refers to the process where by an individual has a clear understanding of what is being written or what is being said or heard

So it is important that the speaker has a clear understanding of what he or she is about to say or what is being processed in the mind

Vocabulary

This simply means the total corpus of words that the speaker has in his or her reservoir and cam conveniently make use of them in the process of communication and speaking

---

Fluency

---

This is one of the main concepts in speaking which has to do with the fluidity of words in making speeches, and it is achievable through thorough practice and exposure to words and communications.

Speaking skills is very crucial to develop and work on as it helps in self expression as stated earlier and when the speaker is conversant with his or her vocabulary and also has the comprehensive consciousness of words accompanied with fluency in grammar it makes communication to be sweet to hear, engaging and interesting.
