Wednesday – What is the correct sentence? – Mini contest #16

Hello SteemKids and Parents!

Like I’ve mentioned before, English has plenty of quirks that can be quite funny!

This week we take a look at palindromes. Palindromes are words, phrases, or sequences that read the same whether you read forward or backward. Its Greek origins literally mean "running back." In other words, palindromes are words that “run back” on themselves, and it is also applicable to phrases and even numbers.

We use palindromes often without us even noticing it. Can you think of any? What about, mom, noon, level, and wow?

One of my favorites, “Never odd or even.”

“While the rain tapped gently on the window, the music played softly”

Wow!! It truly thought that somebody was going to get it right as there were so many participants. With that, we now officially have the highest prize. It is now standing on a whopping 12 STEEM and 24 STEEM if you have written a post.

I am going to give you a scrambled sentence that you must unscramble. In other words, by using all the words, you must place the words in the correct order so that they form a sentence that makes sense.

How to participate?

• You can reply to this post by posting your sentence, or you can write a quality post of 300+ words with the sentence in it. By writing a post, you can double your earnings if you are a winner.
• You can only enter once

What is up for grabs?

The first correct answer will take home 12 STEEM and if you have written a post I will double the winnings and you can take away 24 STEEM.

Just to be fair, the correct answer is send to the admin of the community prior to the start of the game.

The sentence and the winner will be announced next week on Wednesday; therefore, make sure you don't send in your answer later than Tuesday 23:59 UTC.
If there is no winner, the prize will increase by 2 STEEM each time until there is one.
