School feeding program, my part for week 11, Assurance schools
Assurance school was the name of the last school we visited before school went on break. It was a school that is hidden as it were because I never knew it existed there. I got to know of it when I was going about preaching the goodnews of God's kingdom. As soon as I saw it, I quickly excused myself and went in and made enquiries. I was directed to the school Proprietor who welcomed me so well and agreed to the food aid. Though she showed some skepticism, she finally accepted and we exchanged contacts for further information.
When it was this 11th week week, I put a call across to her and she told me to come..I then informed my team members about the school and the location. It was uncooked food that they accepted and as such, I was able to buy noodles which is a common food that most kids love here and are easily welcomed by parents.
On that day, we went on a Wednesday, March 26th 2025. After my workout as usual, I got ready, contacted all other members through our what's app group and zoomed off. Upon getting there, it was I, leosmart, chichigirl and benton3 alone. We waited for others. Soon, goodybest and the brother arrived. Then, I went in to inform the school that we had arrived.
At seeing our t-shirt, the lady became overjoyed. Sje wasn't sure before then wether we were going to be there or not. Sje then understood that I was not joking when I told her that we do carry out food aid. Without much questions, she ordered that the kids be brought out. We waited for the kids to match out in their numbers according to their various classes and they were arranged accordingly.
I then addressed them, we exchanged pleasantries, as usual, we sang some songs to make them happy, we equally watched them dances and were very excited.
Then, we began to distribute the noodles we had gone with to all the more than 100 students present. It was able to go round and they all got 2 each. Guess how happy and excited they were? Well, the video below detailed all that took place there. It is a lengthy one but you are going to feel every bit of our stay there. In deed, food brings joy to the kids, giving them the enthusiasm and the zeal to learn and interact happily.

What is next?
For now, we will wait till when schools resumes. I was told that schools will resume on the week starting April 28th. If that is the case, we will resume our food support perhaps from that week or a week after. However, if we happen to see a cluster of kids, we may as well initiate it with them. But until now, I haven't seen yet. See you when we resume.
