SLC-S21W3 | Apply your eye makeup correctly to highlight your look
This is the third week of engagement challenge season 21 week 3, since I am a lover of makeup so I decided to join in this engagement challenge..
💄 - As seen in the lesson, you must do shading on both the upper and inner eyelid, with the three shades of your preference and blend it as best as possible; In addition, explain and investigate a little about your eye types and what is the best way to enhance your look according to that type. 04 points.
With the lesson been taught I will love to showcase my own with some shot clips for easy learning.
this was my face before I start the make up.
Firstly I love making heavy makeup and I love it when my eyebrows is deep, with that it will give me a perfect look
Normally before making up, I like using primer to fill in my face so that I can have a lasting makeup. But since there was no primer I use aloe vera gel, though is not shown here in the video, I make sure I apply the gel on my face then I wait for some minutes for it to dry before I start making up. This will help the makeup not to break, even with sweat it will last for some hours.
Before I start I will love to state how I love my makeup, though some people love light makeup why some heavy makeup then as for me I love making heavy makeup and I love it when my eyebrows are deep, because it gives me that special look though maybe because I am fair. For me to be sure of a lasting makeup 💄 I usually make use of a primer to fill my face before applying any any makeup on my face. But since my primer is out of stock I decided to make use of aloe vera gel as a replacement. Although it is not shown in the video, I always make sure I apply the gel on my face and then I allow it to dry before I start applying my makeup.
with this method it will helps my makeup last for hours without breaking even when you are sweating.
The video clip was for the first step and I believe I did it very well.
At this point I didn't apply eye shadow but keep reading you will see were the eye shadows comes in.
My eye shadows
As I said before that I will show you all when I apply my eye shadows, in makeup we have different choices and in my own way I decided to use a heavy eye shadow, this will bring out my face very well.
So with the use of brush I was able to apply my eye shadows and it blended very well, the perfect way I wanted.

applying eye shadows and eye liner
From the video clip it shows when I apply my eye shadows and my eye liner.
I have a small eyes so I decided to make my eye liner big and deeper so that it will bring out the cat eyes which I want. The eye liner was apply on my eyelid and it came out very beautiful.
My eye liner was in liquid form, I love using the liquid one because it gives me what I want, and I won't have to use brush to blend it because already the shape is always giving when ever I use the liquid eye liner.
💄 - Explain which mascara brush best suits your needs and why; also, tell us if you use the eyelash curler or on the contrary, if you glue false lashes, either in dots or in runs. 01 point
When it comes to beautifying my lashes, I choose to get an artificial lashes to get along with my natural lashes. With the artificial lashes it do not require mascara, but with the help of glue or I should say bonding, I can achieve the look that I want. I opted for human hair lashes because it gives that natural look that enhances my eyes. Artificial lashes is what most people use this days and it is use to create fuller, longer lashes, and I can say I am a lover of one .
💄- Research and explain what is the best way to clean and wash our implements and how often it should be done to avoid future skin problems. 01 point
Cleaning and washing our makeup brushes is very important, this is to avoid skin problems in the future. My own way is to clean my makeup brushes, form, sponges, and other tools is to this effect I use a very mild soap and warm water. Since I don't make up regularly, what I do is immediately I finish using my makeup tools I wash them immediately and after washing, I dey them in the sun so as to be save from bacteria.
