A real life story

Greetings friends, I have come to share another original story with you guys just as I did last week whereby I was talking about the death of a young man who has always been active serving God. He was successfully buried last week Friday and may his soul rest in peace. Amen. This contest is one of my favorite contest in steemit that's why I enjoy participating in it.

I just want to focus on the altar servers affairs of my church as alot of things has been happening for a very long time. I was always busy with school stuffs that's why I haven't been active in the association but my happiness is that the president who's also a steemian like me is always active in the association. May God keep on blessing him.

Last week Saturday I was in the church with the other altar servers including the president and we were all busy with so many things, there's a new lady that recently joined us after our Reverend father introduced her to us and she's a Cameroonian and she will be spending some time with us though I don't know how long she's going to be here with us.

We washed vestments and arranged them on top alot of chairs which we set line by line outside because we the place we used to hang them has been occupied for a particular project building for the church. As soon as we finished arranging the vestments and clearing some grass, we all went inside the church for practice. While the practice was going on four boys started laughing at one of the boys who made a mistake during the practice section.

The catechist was angry with them and decided to flog them with his cane. Practice ended and we shared the days the boys will serve mass then our Reverend sent for all of us after he finished discussing with the lady he introduced to us and she asked him to point out the boys that were disrespecting her, the catechist also called out the boys he flogged and all of a sudden our Reverend father said that he has officially expelled the boys from the association.

We were so surprised that he didn't suspend them instead he expelled them. We aren't much and now we have reduced in number. I was surprised that the boys didn't him kneel down at he front of the Reverend father begging for forgiveness. He dismissed us and we talked privately, the lady said she didn't expect him to expel them and we need to rewrite our mass sharing because some of the boys expelled are in the list. I was heartbroken too and some of the boys were sad. I just pray our Reverend father forgives them soon.
