"Weekly Contest 17 || The Diary Game || How I Spent My Day
Hi wonderful friends.. How are you doing today? And your families too? I trust you've been good.. Its another week of the steemit weekly contest on the diary game. Today, I will be sharing with you on how I spent my day. Just read on;
MY DIARY GAME
I woke up around 5:30 am in the morning, I said my morning prayers, dressed my bed and left the room to do my house chores. The weather was too cold this morning, so I had to go boil water for bathing. While I was waiting for the water, I carried my broom and started sweeping and arranging the house. Immediately I was done with my chores, the water was boiled already. I took it, had my bath and dressed up for work.
Before 7:10am, I was done dressing up. Before then, I told my little sister to help me prepare my breakfast which was noodles and fried plantain. I ate it hurriedly because I was almost late for work and I didn't want to pay any penalty for coming late. Soon, I was done with everything, and I left for work. My place of work isn't too far from my house, so it literally takes me 15minutes to get to my work place. I got to my work place by 7:35am and when I got there, my colleagues at work has already started to clean the shop, so I joined them to clean up and soon we were done.

As you all know, am a fashion designer. I love everything fashion an that is why I ventured into learning on sewing and clothing. So, when we were done, I began to finish up the cloth that I wasn't able to complete the previous day. Before noon, I was done with the dress and the picture above is the outcome of it. I rested a little before I began sewing the second cloth. The next dress I was sewing really gave me a tough time because it was a beaded lace material. I kept on sewing it and soon my stomach started to yell for food. So, I stepped out to go look for something to eat.
I went to buy food but seeing the quantity of the food they put wasn't satisfying. So, i bought some snacks that includes cake and chilled drink. It costed me 4 steems which is about #800 in my currency. I came back to the shop and consumed it. I rested and regained a little strength again. I continued sewing and before our closing time, I was able to finish up the dress. It was 5:30pm, so we began to pack because it was closing time. Within few minutes, we were through packing and we locked up the shop. So I had plans on buying my deodorants. Next, I went to a nearby supermarket and got these deodorants you see below. It costed me 35steems which is about 8,000# in Nigeria currency.

I was so famished and hungry because I didn't have much to eat at noon. So, when we close, I hurriedly flagged down the keke and it took me home. When I got home, my sister was already making dinner. She was preparing fried yam with stew sauce. While I was waiting for the food to be ready, I went in and freshened up and came out for dinner. I dined on the food and it was really delicious and yummy. After that, I assisted my little cousins on their assignment. So, lastly I said my night prayers and here am I posting on steemit. It was indeed an awesome day..😇
