It is a pleasure fore to participate in this assignment organized by @steemkidss and the wonderful way of teaching by @benson6 here is my participation.

  1. What is Figure of speech?
    These are the techniques to choose words carefully In order to achieve special effects and make the writing more interesting, and also to help the reader better understand their message.

2 . Mention at least 7 examples of figures of speech and explain 3 of them

a. Simile: This is the comparison of two different things that have certain qualities using the words as or like.

b. Metaphor: this is the he direct comparison between two dissimilar things that actually have something in common without the use of as or like.

c. Personification: This is a figure of speech in which inanimate objects or abstraction are given human qualities or abilities.
d. Irony

e. Alliteration

f. Assonance

g. Rhyme

  1. What is Pun?
    The joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word, to n a way to suggest two or more possible meanings of a word or the meaning of another word with the same sound.
