Contest Announcement : Gratitude Challenge for Kids

My warm greetings to little fellas, parents and guardians!

Steem Kids has been doing an amazing job in developing creativity, educating some serious skills and much more among kids. Today, I am going to add my contribution in this good work by organizing a beautiful contest for you all.

Among a lot of good habits, instilling gratitude at a young age is really important to lead a happier life in future. We should teach our children to be appreciative of little things in life and tell them to be expressive about it. This challenge will help the kids to do the same.

How to Express Gratitude and Write about it for this contest?

1- First think of the people you are grateful to have in your life. Those people can be your parents, guardians, siblings, relative, friends or even a stranger.

2- Think about why you are grateful to have them. What have they done or do for you?

3- Then write about how you feel when those people do good for you.

4- Now express your gratitude to them. It can be in the form of :

 - Thank you note / Handmade card
 - Give flowers
 - Gift
 - Help them in their work
 - Make a cup of tea or anything you can make that they would like to eat or drink

There are plenty of ways one can express gratitude. Do it the way you are most comfortable with and write a post which covers all the things mentioned above specially the last part - What did you do to express gratitude?

Who can participate?

Verified Kids should participate but if you are a parent or a guardian, you can help your child in an act of kindness like charity or feeding an animal. Tell them about its importance and let them do the good deed in your supervision and write a post about it.
