Thank you for your response, @peachyladiva. I ask questions because I acknowledge my ignorance about the education environment in Nigeria. My perceptions are skewed because the only young lady from Nigeria I communicate with is @madilyn02, and it appears she has the full support of her family.

Promoting acceptance by the parents can be accomplished in a couple of ways. One way is that they can print pamphlets and conduct classes for the parents to attend. I am a proponent of an alternative method. Pay children to attend school.

By looking at the population pyramid for Nigeria, the country is going to see a worsening economic crisis unless the children now can all obtain a proper education (regardless of being female or male). Consider our position on Steemit.
