These two rules seems confusing, can you clarify what required and the deadline of the contest please.
Challenge starts on 8th April-8th May, 2023. This contest verifies you to join the challenge next week.

Okay. It's a monthly challenge that would start on the 8th of April and end on the 8th of May. To be a added to the challenge, you must participate in this verification contest which which would end on the 6th. So in essence, the verification contest would end on the 6th and prizes would be given before the main challenge starts next week. This is a contest ending on the 6th while the challenge would end on 8th May. Therefore, the deadline of this contest is on the 6th of April. I hope you're clarified?
You have different contests editions while the main event will end on May 8th. The first edition has a deadline of April 6th.
