"My dreams @chiagoziee"
Hello Steemains, it has been a wonderful day throughout, I'm glad to be part of this week's contest, which talks about our dreams in life. From when we are little kids, we begin to develop our minds toward certain things like becoming a doctor, teachers, nurses, or engineers.
While in school, we also had minor dreams like going to a mountain and attending recreational activities like playing basketball with professional basketballers is one of my dreams. Some people may have dreams of going to the museum which has their cultural heritage, by doing this they will get more knowledge about their heritage. Right from the time when I was a little boy I said to myself that I would like to become an astronaut, the reason why I chose to become an astronaut at that time was because I watched movies where astronauts were credited for their discoveries in space such as knowing that there is no oxygen in space and that man cannot survive in several planets except Mars.
But when I grew up to grade 5, I decided that I wanted to become a medical doctor or a laboratory scientist. The reason why I chose this job is that I am a person who likes to discover new things; in treating patients, I can discover new methods of making patients feel more comfortable and relaxed while receiving their treatment.
My passion for becoming a laboratory scientist has made me research the work that they do in the laboratory, such as testing blood to know the kind of diseases that the patients have for the doctor to easily minister perfect treatment to the Patients. The lab scientists are also responsible for checking the genotype of individuals and married couples to avoid genotype AS and AS getting married to prevent the offspring from being sickle cell anemia patients.
Dreams, dreams, dreams!!!. There was a particular time that I wanted to visit somewhere new, I wanted to visit a museum or an international Park in my area. Behold our school organized a date that we will all be going for an excursion to the Calabar museum. The Calabar Museum is notorious in Nigeria, being known for its uniqueness in all-order museums. It also carries a lot of artifacts of the ancient people of Calabar. This museum also has the slave trade era, where the people of Calabar were used as slaves by the colonial master.
I can vividly remember that it was said that a slave who was very short and known for his stubborn character was able to remove the chains in his mouth and eat some crops where they were asked to farm.
This made them hang him upside down and burn him to death; this was the way a slave was meant to die, according to the colonial Masters. Each slave hits its master, and a slave is identified by the mark that its owner has given to him or her. We were also told that there was a forbidden land which no man had to go to till this day; it was said that anyone who enters the land shall not come back alive, and the reason has not been known to date. Do your research and find out if I am saying facts concerning the Calabar museum.

I strongly believe that one day my dream of being a laboratory scientist will come true. Because of my hard work in school, reading always, and researching to gain more knowledge concerning the kind of job and future I want for myself, you do not expect your dreams to come true without making an effort, like when I wanted to go to the museum I did not just wait for the school to send us on an excursion I prayed for it and it came to pass.
I would like to invite
