Greetings to you friends! I hope you are all fine as I am. I want to first appreciate @mesola and the Steem Kids & Parents community for sustaining this contest. Today, I want to make a cartoon of Friendship between Tom and Jerry. I have believe that children and parents in this community will like it and will also learn from this drawing that no matter our differences in life, we should be able to resolve and embrace each other.

Materials used for drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Colours
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began my drawing from the head of Tom. I started with the two ears, then the chick, eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrow and the hair on its head.

Step 2
I drew the two hands and the beautiful gift. I also drew the stomach of Tom

Step 3
I drew the two legs of Tom and its tail

Step 4
Here, I drew the head of Jerry. On the head drew the forehead the two ears, its chick, eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrow and the long hair around its nose.

Step 5
I drew the remaining parts of Jerry's body which are the stomach, its hands, its two legs and the tail.

Step 6
I drew the chair that Tom and Jerry were sitting on.

Step 7
At this stage, I started colouring my drawing. I began by shading the body of Tom using a 6B pencil. I shaded the body, hands, legs and tail.

Step 8
I shaded the head of Tom at this stage. I used a 6B pencil to shade the entire face, 12B pencil was used to shade the eyebrows, eyelids, nose and long hairs around the mouth. I finally used pink pencil for the ears and yellow to shade the eye.

Step 9
At this stage, I shaded the body of Jerry using an orange colour.

Step 10
Here, I shaded the head of Jerry using an orange colour, the eyebrow, the eyelids and the long hairs around its mouth with a 12B pencil. I also coloured the tongue of Jerry red colour and its stomach yellow colour. Finally, I coloured the gift in Tom's hands using yellow and red colours.

Step 11
Here, I coloured the chair that Tom and Jerry are sitting on. I used green colour for the seat and the legs of the chair with brown colour.
