Update #94: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Drawing The Portrait Of A Kid
Materials used for drawing
- A4 paper
- Pencils
- Eraser
- Sharpener
Step 1
I sketch the face of the kid. I begin with the forehead down to the cheek and the jaw. I drew the two ears and then the top level of his hair.
Step 2
I drew the neck of the child, his shoulder and the collar of his T-shirt using a 6B pencil
Step 3
I took time to dress the two ears. I also drew and dressed the hair on his head. The child has coiled hair, as you can see from the drawing. All this was achieved with the help of a 6B pencil
Step 4
I drew the two eyes of the child. I first sketched the eye, drew the eyelids and shaded them appropriately. I also drew the eyelashes. In this step, I used a 10B pencil.
Step 5
I drew the eyebrow of the child, drew his nose and shaded the nostrils. I also shaded the top of the nose. Here, I used 6B and 10B pencils.
Step 6
I drew the mouth of the kid and shaded his lips. The kid
doesn't have teeth in his mouth as you can see from his smiles. I shaded his cheek to show that the kid was smiling. Here, I used a 6B and 10B pencil.
Step 7
I drew the kid's jaw and shaded his neck and his shirt. Finally, I drew my name on the paper using a 6B pencil.
