Week 5 ended for our sing the song challenge and it was a hit because we still had two consistent contestants who has been participating and winning for 2 weeks now. They gave their best shots singing the given songs relative to their country. A Nigerian and Pakistani joined the contest and sang the songs I gave for the just concluded contest.

@whitie a Nigerian made a music video on the song Airplane Mode by Fireboy DML. This was the Nigerian song slated for Nigerians who would participate in the contest. This user gave his best in singing this song the way the artiste sang it. He gave the fitting tone to this particular song and made it more real. I love the way he echoed the song at intervals even though he used treble in singing. **His enunciations were clear but the chemistry would have been much better if he sang from his lungs and tune emotions the way the artiste did.

The song is very emotional and expressing these emotions in song shows you have the artiste in mind when singing. This is the only thing he needs to improve on. In all, he smashed it

@shahidalinaz also smashed it. I want to commend him for always trying to sing like the artiste. His voice is synonymous to that of the artiste. I wonder how it would be if instrumentals are included. Your enunciations were clear and you expressed the low tone and emotions in the song as did the artiste.

Week 6

For week 6, we'll still be going freestyle. I've selected three songs known in three countries for now. Nigeria, Pakistan and Venezuela. Citizens from these countries who wants to participate in the song challenge won't have to sing a particular song. There are no restrictions to songs chosen by participants. Whatever song you're comfortable and know how to sing well should be sung. We'll just have to be free from memorising tone and lyrics this week. Give it your best shot on any song you love.
