How are you? I hope everyone is doing well by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well. I am back to participate in another Steem Kids & Parents contest today. The competition is organized by @mesola. The name of the contest is Let's Do It...Do It Yourself. 👉Craft, Creativity, Drawing, Origami, DIY, Recycling, and more in week 55. Today, I will be drawing a dictionary in the contest.

The things I needed to draw this dictionary are:

An art paper
A 2B, 4B, 6B, and 8B pencil
Black gel pen
A rubber
A scale

Now, I will discuss the details of how I drew and colored this Dictionary:

Step One
First, I made a dictionary shape with the help of a pencil and scale. I used a 4B pencil here to draw the dictionary.

Step Two
Now I wrote these three words of Oxford English Dictionary on the dictionary. I wrote these words in double to write them thickly. I also used a 4B pencil here to write these words.

Step Three
Now I made some designs for sketching on the dictionary. I made designs with some curved lines using a pencil here.

Step Four
Now I colored the words of Oxford English Dictionary thickly using a black gel pen so that the words look interesting.

Step Five
In this step, I sketched the designs that I had drawn for sketching on the dictionary using an HB pencil.

Step Six
Then, I sketched the empty spaces left by sketching with a six-by pencil. I sketched these areas lightly with light shades.

Step Seven
At this stage, I wrote some sentences on the dictionary at the bottom. First on the left side and then on the right side.

Step Eight
Now, I wrote my name and the date I used it below my drawn Oxford English Dictionary.

Selfie
Finally, I took a selfie of myself with my drawn Oxford English Dictionary.

We all know that dictionaries are a very important part of our lives. Because in our studies and jobs, when we have difficulty finding or knowing a word, we use dictionaries and that is when we need a dictionary. Each of us should keep a dictionary at home because it plays a very important role in our intellectual development. So, the importance of the Oxford English Dictionary in education is very high.
