Music For Steem | As A Star Cries | Cover | Como Llora Una Estrella
As a star cries, is a song composed by Antonio Carrillo in 1915, 105 years ago when, after leaving a party at the home of Don Teodosio Adames, he walked with a guitarist friend with whom he sat by candlelight in the northwest corner of Carrera 17 with Calle 30 in Barquisimeto, that small place became the scene of that play.
On another night, those who got used to serenades with friends. Antonio Carrillo arrived at the parish house of the Immaculate Conception temple and interpreted that beautiful melody with his bandolin and the then priest Carlos Borges asked him what the name of that piece was, he replied: I came so that you could give it a name, the parish priest he put "As a star cries."
The piece did not stop being interpreted and even recorded, it remained then a melodic and instrumental piece. Time passed and Arnoldo Vivas Toledo was the first to give color to that work, his poetry captivated Carrillo and they decided to record that piece.
With the passage of time the work has seven different lyrics known so far, but the most popular of all is the version by Arnoldo Vivas T.
I recorded this video with an Alcatel Cameo X, and it was edited with the Vimady application. The image was captured with it and I edited it with PhotoDirector. Thanks to all who took a moment to see this musical work and I hope to continue counting on your support on the blog for future publications. Until next time!
As a Star Cries
Memories of a yesterday, which was passion
the soft twinkling that yesterday I saw
in your sweet look, your love I felt
your angelic face, April rose
how I would like to love and be
the mystical prayer that is in you
but not feeling your strange love from yesterday
my lonely star will cry of love.
Give me the tender light of your beautiful look
it's like the twinkling of a star of love
and deep ecstasy of passion
my sad verses I will offer you
and in your lush forehead I will hang
the star of this great love.
In this opportunity I would like to offer my version of How a star cries, written by Arnoldo Vivas Toledo. I hope you like it.
