My top Netflix recommendations for when you want to relax and chill!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you’re all doing well. So, for my first post after my introduction (https://steemit.com/hive-172186/@afifadilawaiz/achievement-1-my-introduction). I wanted to talk about something that I am very fond of, and that is watching different shows. Haha, yes we all have days where we are either bored or just not feeling that great and that is the perfect time to cozy up in your bed and watch a good series that you actually enjoy.
So, before starting I want to tell you guys a little bit about my taste in shows. I am a huge fan of thriller, crime, murder mysteries, etc. However, I will try to include other options as well that I’m sure you all will enjoy. This post is mainly for shows on Netflix, as we all have been in a situation where we have our delicious food Infront of but we just can’t find anything good to watch!

So, guys cozy up in your bed, grab a snack, put on your fairy/led lights and lets Netflix together!

The Sinner
The first show I’m going to talk about is the sinner one of the OGs! This show has three seasons all with different stories circling around a detective Harry Ambrose, investigating unusual cases. So, every season there is a new case. What’s different about this show, is why ordinary people commit such heinous crimes? People with no history of violence, living very ordinary lives. The first season is my most favorite, it stars Jessica Biel who is also the producer of the show. If not, the whole series I will definitely urge you all to watch the first season, the ending had me shocked! The story, caste, direction everything is just amazing oh and especially the soundtrack!

American Crime Story
This show is based on actual events that have happened in the US that got a lot of attention from the Media. It has three seasons, again every season has a new story. I have seen the first two, as the third one has not fully released yet. These are the ones that I have seen.

•The People v. O. J. Simpson
This season was on the murder trial of O. J. Simpson, the famous American football player, for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. The casting of this series is absolutely amazing, the actors portrayed the real-life personalities so well that I could not differentiate between them. This court trial was the highlight of 1994-95 everyone followed it religiously waiting for what will happen. You can find the actual court hearings on YouTube and they are exactly like the scenes in the show. I don’t want to give away too much but this show is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it to everyone no matter what your type is. P.S. if you are a Kardashian fan you will love it as it shows the Kardashians when they were younger. This is because their father Robert Kardashian was a close friend of O. J. Simpson.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace
We all are familiar with the infamous fashion brand Versace. However, what some of you may not know is that its founder Gianni Versace was shot on the entrance of his famous mansion, The Versace Mansion, in Miami. The news had everyone shocked especially the Versace fans. The show basically revolves around Versace’s murder by serial killer Andrew Cunan (played by Darren Chris) and his life. I think Darren Chris did a splendid job and overall the cinematography and just everything is brilliant. It can get a little dark so if you’re a little sensitive I would just like to give you that warning.

The Office
Okay, let’s move things to a little lighter note haha. The Office is one of the best comedy shows. The cast is amazing especially Steve Carell, who plays the goofy, careless boss that just tries too hard! If you’re ever feeling down I would highly recommend this show. I will admit Season 1 is very slow and some might find it boring, but that is because it was a trial season. The show is basically about a small office in a small town. The daily politics, events, activities and the lives of the employees. It is not forced humor, I am sure you all will love it.

Sherlock
I think we all have been fans of Sherlock Holmes at some point in our lives. For anyone who doesn’t know, Sherlock Homes is a fictional character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock is a consulting detective who is a genius. In the show Benedict Cumberbatch plays Sherlock, he is one my favorite actors and he has done such a good job. Martin Freeman plays Dr. Watson who is Sherlock’s companion. This is my number one favorite show. It is emotional, intelligent, funny, wholesome, literally everything. I have never seen a show as good as this.

Bridgerton
This show is of the Regency era in England, showing people of the high society. It is actually an older version of Gossip Girl. Yes, I am serious. Like gossip girl there is a newsletter by the name of Lady Whistledown that reveals all the secrets and gossips of the society. It was such a fun show to watch, I honestly did not get bored for a second. Besides that it is also so pretty and colorful, you just feel happy watching it. It mainly revolves around how people presented their daughters in the society when it was time for them to get married. They have modern day songs playing in the regency era setting, which makes the show very interesting and exciting to watch. My personal favorite is Duke of Hastings, let me know who is your favourite when you see it.
