The Diary Game || New Year Day || 01/01/25

On the first day of 2025, I almost woke up late because of the numerous activities that place on 2024, 31st night and I was very active at the early hours of first January because I was busy wishing alot of people a happy new year and also replying to the wishes from others. I went to bed that early morning because I will be going to church by 8am.

Morning Period

Luckily for me I still woke up early and I prepared for church at once. There was no NEPA light and my family and I were surprised because most times there's NEPA light on the first day of every week but this year was different. I served 8am.maaa that day, we had only one mass that day and I have always said to my side that no matter what, I must serve mass on the first day of every year till the next 4 years then I won't make it a compulsory till for myself.

Alot of people weren't in the church that day because most of them have traveled already, most of them attended the 31st night mass and they couldn't get the opportunity to attend the morning mass that day. Immediately the mass ended I decided to pick some dirts round the compound and throw them at the waste bin then I washed my hands and headed straight to the house.

Afternoon Period

In the afternoon I took pictures with my new t-shirt, I bought it last month and I said I will wear it on the first day of 2025 to church. So is important I take alot of pictures with it because they will be useful to.me. My younger sister wasn't at home because that day wasn't her off day, e couldn't take pictures with her the way we did on Christmas day when it was her off day.

I just took pictures with our last born because she was the only one available and others couldn't really wait to take pictures with me because I came home late. After serving the mass inajd to arrange some other things in the church near the altar before I picked those dirts and went home. It was a very sunny day and everywhere was so quiet.

Evening Period

I created a post that day because is a must for me to create a post on the first and last day of every year no matter how busy I might be that day as this is one of my principles as a part-time blogger. Immediately I was done with the write up posted it at once even if I know the chances of it being voted isn't up to 50% I was so busy with other stuffs as well.

Dinner was ready and I ate jollof rice that night, the rice was so delicious and there was salad too. I haven't eaten salad for almost 8 months and I was happy I ate it that day. There was still no NEPA light and I was still surprised because is not really nice to start the day without light in our homes but is not a serious issue anyway. Heat was everywhere that night but I managed to sleep by 12am the next day.
