Iftar with Friends || A Beautiful Evening

After years of thinking about it my friend finally decided to have an Iftar party It was a very quick and sudden plan

We were sitting together when we thought that since this is our last year in university we should have an Iftar party

Everyone agreed but the main problem was choosing a location After some discussion we decided on Major Khalid Shaheed Park as our spot

Once the location was finalized we had to plan the menu for eight people We divided the food among ourselves including macaroni chana chickpeas sweet dahi baray spring rolls biryani samosas and the most important items dates and juice for opening the fast

We chose Saturday for the Iftar and as the day arrived everything went according to plan My friends and I first reached the meeting spot where two of our friends picked us up in their car

We then headed toward Major Khalid Shaheed Park in DHA Karachi I forgot the phase

When we reached the park the sun was still high and since we were all fasting we looked for a shady spot under a tree

We laid down mats and placed our food and other things on them while waiting for the rest of our friends to arrive When the Asr Azan was called we girls went to pray The best part about this place was that it had a separate prayer area for men and women

By then all our friends had arrived and there was still one hour left until Iftar so we went to the seashore nearby to spend some time The weather was pleasant with a cool breeze

As Maghrib Azan time approached we returned to our spot We took out all the food arranged the plates and glasses and served the juices Before breaking our fast we made dua prayer together

As soon as the Maghrib Azan was called we opened our fast and enjoyed the first meal after the long day of fasting After eating we all went to pray Maghrib Salah We then had some chit chat but since we all had to go home early for Taraweeh we packed up our things and left
