I hope you are all doing well!
20th November was a very special day in our family, it was my younger sister Khadija's birthday. She is not just any younger sister, she is the one who arrived after 9 long years. She is the most cherished addition to our family. I still remember how excited i was when she was born. Finally, i was not the youngest anymore, i had a baby sister. I had so many plans in my head about how i would make her do all my chores, like giving me water and following my orders. But oh, how tables have turned.
Now that she is grown up, she is the boss of the house. she order us instead of listening to our orders. She is too stubborn as if we disagree with her, she is ready to unleash a flood of tears and let me tell you, stopping her from crying is not an easy task. But despite all her quirks, she is the ladli (favorite) of everyone in the house. Honestly i used to think i was the star of the family but from the day she arrived, she hass taken all the attention. And you know what? I love her most and she is my favourite sister.
To celebrate her special day we invited five of her close friends over for a birthday party. The little guests were supposed to arrive at 7:30 pm but they arrived late at 8 pm. We decided to cut the cake first. Khadija was so excited and the moment she cuts the cake, everyone clapped and cheered. Her friends bring beautiful gifts for her which made her smile even brighter. The cake was delicious.
After the cake we served dinner and it was a hit. The kids enjoyed every bite with laughing and chatting away.
Once the dinner was done, it was time for some photography. The kids posed with their cutest smiles and filled the room with energy and fun. One particularly adorable moment was when i clicked a photo of a little girl who had just finished her cake. Her face was covered in chocolate and her innocent expressions melted my heart. She is such a sweetheart and i love the way she talks.
The kids danced, played games and enjoyed. The sound of their laughter and music filled the house with warmth and happiness. They finally headed home around 11 pm.
After the party, it was time to open Khadija’s gifts. Each one was unique and beautiful and Khadija was thrilled with all of them.
One gift that stood out was a handmade card from her friend Anamta. The card was beautifully decorated with "Happy Birthday Khadija" written on it and inside was an essay on My Best Friend. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture.
This birthday was not just a celebration for Khadija but a reminder of how much joy and love she brings to our family. Watching her laugh, play and enjoy her day made all the effort worth it. She is truly the heart of our home and we are so lucky to have her.
