BIOGRAPHY OF THE PROPHET ﷺ.....
PART:-••••14...
Then when Bakht Nasr launched a second attack in 587, the Banu Dedan fled to Yemen. At that time, the Prophet of the Banu Israel was Hazrat Jeremiah. He took Adnan's son Ma'ad with him to the country of Syria. When Bakht Basr's power ended and Ma'ad came to Mecca, he found only one person from the tribe of Jarham, Jarsham bin Jalhamah, in Mecca. Ma'ad married this girl Ma'ana and Nizar was born from her womb.
After this, Jarham's condition in Mecca continued to deteriorate. They were beset by poverty, as a result of which they started abusing the pilgrims of the House of Allah and did not hesitate to eat the property of the Kaaba.
Meanwhile, Banu Adnan kept on grumbling and getting angry at these actions. Therefore, when Banu Khuza'ah camped in Mara-Zahran and saw that Banu Adnan hated Banu Jurham, they took advantage of this and took an Adnani tribe (Banu Bakr bin Abd Manaf bin Kinana) with them and waged war against Banu Jurham and expelled them from Mecca and took control of it themselves. This incident dates back to the middle of the 1st century AD.
When Banu Jurham left Mecca, they dug up the well of Zamzam and buried many historical objects in it, erasing their traces. Muhammad bin Ishaq states that Amr bin Harith bin Mudadh took out the two antlers of the Kaaba and the Black Stone, which was placed in its corner, and buried them in the well of Zamzam and brought his tribe Banu Jurrah with them. He went to Yemen with them. The Banu Jurham were very worried about being exiled from Mecca and losing their government there. Therefore, the aforementioned Amr wrote these verses in this regard:
There was no acquaintance of the Banu Hajjun to Safa
Anis and no one named Samir in Mecca
Yes, we were worthy of it, so we destroyed it
Saruf al-Layali wa al-Jadood al-Awathir
"It seems that no one knew anyone from Hajjun to Safa, nor did anyone tell stories in the night gatherings of Mecca - why not! We were indeed its inhabitants, but the vicissitudes of time and the broken fortunes have destroyed us."
The time of Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) is about two thousand years before Christ. According to this calculation, the Jurham tribe existed in Mecca for about two thousand one hundred years and their rule lasted for about two thousand years. After capturing Mecca, Banu Khuza'ah established their rule alone without including Banu Bakr. However, there were three important and distinguished positions that fell to the Mudar tribes.
1- The pilgrims' journey from Arafat to Muzdalifah and the Day of Expulsion.
On the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah, which is the last day of the Hajj, they were given permission to depart from Mina. This privilege was held by Ilyas bin Mudar of Banu Ghaus bin Murrah, who were called Sufa. The explanation of this privilege is that on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah, pilgrims could not throw pebbles until each person from Sufa had first thrown a pebble. Then the pilgrims threw pebbles. When the people of Sufa finished their journey and wanted to leave Mina, they would stand on both sides of Aqaba, the only passage to Mina, and would not let anyone pass until they themselves had passed. After they had passed, the way would be clear for the rest of the people.
When Sufa finished, this honor passed to Banu Saad bin Zaid, a family from Banu Tamim, Manah.
