From just reading your review it wasn't clear to me what the video is about .

If I watch it this is what I see: a phone addicgt who doesn't care if he is threated with an axe or gun. The robber is just a like an annoying fly and waved away and can't impress the owner of the phone.
That changes if something ordinary as water water is used which makes one realize that if it comes to danger (and also threatening others) a gun isn't needed. Opportunity (winter) and the fear for a cold are enough.
