RE: Contest: Short Film Review - THE IMOM
It's stunning how houses in the movies (whether long whether short are always flawless and spotless: no a single ounce of dust, no a single dishcloth out of its place, no a single breadcrumb under the table. Always all clean and tidy, less exceptions, when a movie shows drunkards or psychiatric patients' houses😂😂😂😂
It feels like showroom houses. Kitchens where not a single person ever cooks remain clean. It's what we see in commercials and films.
Also the hair is always great and as you can see the boy sits on one spot only. Perhaps his sadness is caused by the fact he was never allowed to play, set his boundaries? Being raised by a perfect programmed robot. What will it teach you? How will a child develop?
I am fine with drunk, idiots and a mad house. One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest is still one of the best I saw.

I have just remembered a shi-fi tail of my primary's book: n a futuristic world, two siblings of middle class had a robot as teacher. Their books appearing only in a screen. When they bumped into a paper book, the robot told them in the previous centuries there were only paper books to study. What a lavishness, said the boy😂
As if having a robot isn't lavishness. Without words printed on paper I would feel lost. Imagine a life where a screen is all you have and next the power is switched off till... Eternity?
I told my youngest yesterday a robot for a teacher instead of the one she has might not be a bad idea at all.
Good, kind teachers are rare. ☹️
In the century where the story is fitted, no child goes to school because every family count on androids teachers. Well...in my (im)modest opinion it means to seriously study. No distractions, no bullying (children aren't forced to spend tons of hours with questionable mates) and consequently no psychologist's sessions to recover from depression and other mishaps caused by a physical scholar incompetent environment...despite I know I'll lose my main job for the sake of androids...😂😂😂😂
Well, when I moved so far, I had to pay to move paper books with my couple and I had to sell some of them. About the oldest university books, I was forced to throw them away to the dust because too obsolete to sell and couldn't pay a fortune to ship them. That's one of the reasons I love e-books...no heaviness, no need to cut trees...less paper = more trees😂😂😂😂
In any way, I understand friends who say the scent of the paper is unreplaceable😂😂😂😂
We better make smokers stop smoking! Any idea how many fires are needed to dry tobacco, make the 'paper' for the cigarette and not to mention the filters?
There are more trees cut to grow soy and just out of fun and to build more houses or industry parks abandoned after 30 years.
Noone cares about trees modern brainless human sees it as the cause of a bad air!
Paper? No trees are needed. Paper can be made out out of other materials (next to old paper we collect for at least 50 years - schools included, containers everywhere plus each household has one). Next to old paper it can be fabricated out of cloths, hay and so on. There's plenty of it and we did it in the old days and still do.
By the way it would help if schools stop with forcing to buy new books, wouldn't force to buy the 'workbiok' no one uses and old schoolbooks are taken back and will be reused.
This is a huge waste of capital, paper, ink, energy. If I see this behaviour I can not take a teacher and his environment talks serious.
I agree with you that with a bot teacher lesdons are more efficient, can be way shorter, no bullies, personal lessons and better results (if that is wanted at all if bots are available.
For sure you find something else to do or to teach. Or you just sit in the son and enjoy the fact you can finally relax.
P. S. With some bad luck you have to teach a bot how to teach 🤣
#wewrite & #comment and I wish you a great Sunday ♥️🍀
All smokers should stop to smoke. Cigarettes &company = burned money, literally burned money. Unfortunately, a smoker hardly stops.
I didn't know paper can be made of cloths. I remember a lesson in my last primary's book telling how paper is made and the images showing wood, wood and wood. Then the topic of recycling came and another lesson talked about paper made of recycled old paper. I didn't know about cloths, but it's very interesting.
I never had an android as student, but it would be funny to teach a robot how to teach🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy week!
Making paper is a great hobby. We have a themepark since years (open air museum) where this old way of making paper is shown.
It's not different from what you see here
https://nl.wikihow.com/Papier-maken
where paper is made from old paper but also grass and so on can be added to it. Water, pulp (a porridge) and patience is what is mainly needed if you do it yourself.
As you can read in the next text paper was made of Bambu (plants) and silk as well
https://www.products.pcc.eu/en/blog/how-is-paper-made/
Paper can also be made from plant fibres such as sugar beet and agricultural waste.
Someone has to teach the robots so why not you? By the time that bot understands the idea you will be too old to teach and it can generate an income for you.
It would be a good deal😂: the robot pays me its income😂😂😂😂Well, a robot can't seriously benefit from money, until...it's The bicentennial man Andrew Martin😂😂😂😂
