RE: Short Film Review – Timepiece (2024)
I don't get it. 😆 Who was that old man? A magician who repair watches? maybe they should make it longer and explain things.

hahahhaaha.. I guess you are right. The build up was too quick to reach to the old man. But, she reached to where to conversation started. LOL..
Personally, I was focused so much on the conversation between them, that I wasn't thinking about how he appeared and disappeared without her noticing it.
And how the watch was fixed.
My guts tells me, it has to do with the old man. He must have something to do with it. LOL..
A lot of mystery in a straight forward 8 minutes movie.
One more thing: she missed the bus which made her miss the exam. But when she got the next bus, it was just 8.30, so she will have a chance to make it to the exam.
So was the darn old man? I want to have his power and fix so much things.
It could be his power that they did not talk about. Or, it could be that they were so limited in time, so, the initial thought was that she was late. Then, when they were close to the end, and there was no enough time to explain the details. She checks her watch and she's not late. I get it, it raises so many questions on what happened their exactly. But, the movie overall was nice. At least, you have to give it that XD.
Interesting. I bet it will (if not already) have sequel(s).
Short films rarely have.
You noticed ronnie10 doesn't believe in hocus pocus. 🤓
So he missed the magic of imagination.
or you watch a few times to see what happens.
