The Darkest Hours in My Life and It Turned into Darkest Days...
Guys, it's been a long time since my last post. I think it was before the year-end. With the start of my new job at PGP Glass Ceylon PLC, I kinda got caught up in work and was unable to prioritize posting over other work. But now, for about a month, I'm having the longest holiday since Covid. But it is not in a good way. Lemme tell you about that briefly.
Everything was fine until April 9th. That day morning, I went to get my passport with Dasuni and one of her friends and luckily was able to get those by 6 PM. Later, we returned to UOM where we gathered in the morning at about 8 PM.
After work on the 8th, I came to Patuwathavithana Hostel as one of my colleagues were still staying there. Since I had a long day, I thought of going back to Quarters after getting passport is better than staying at the hostels at night and returning to Quarters in the morning.
So I went to the bus hault quickly, thinking of not missing a bus to go to Piliyandala. But it was not a bus that came to the bus hault, it was a car.
The car was coming from Piliyandala and somehow that idiot driver managed to crash into the bus hault while crashing with a scooter and come towards me. And all these things happened suddenly, just in a second.
The car was hit on my right leg at the knee joint and with that impact, I was drawn on to the car and that caused to damage my left side of the face by impacting on the windscreen. With all these things going on, I felt like I was struck by a Wresting player.
I don't want to mention any sensitive stuff but I somehow managed to get off the vehicle and I laid on the floor. Then people from around came and helped me to feel comfortable and clear the wounds. After the arrival of Suwasariya, I was admitted to Panadura Hospital and then to Kalubovila Hospital.
Still, I can't get up from my legs as there are multiple ligament damage on the right knee joint and they should be examined to arrange necessary operations to repair those.
So many friends, coworkers, neighbours and relatives helped me and my family along the way and they are still helping. Now I feel boring to do anything and I think blogging about things I'm interested is a way to break the barrier.
So I think it's time to resume my Steemit Journey.. Cheers 🥂
Reading your story made me very sad. Despite our safety, we get into accidents because of the terrible drivers surrounding us. To release from your monotonous life, good idea is engage with this platform more and more. Wish you speedy recovery son.
Yeah... Keeping busy keeps me sane.
Thank you
🌼
I too had an accident in Piliyandala about two and a half months ago. 😔💔 I even had to have surgery and wires inserted for the broken bones. Now I can walk with both feet on the ground to some extent. I hope you get well soon...❤️🙌
Man that's crazy. You've gone through a lot of procedures. Were you admitted to Kalubovila Hospital?? The surrounding seems familar. Hope you get in there to the normal way as soon as possible.
Get well soon, Chathux.. Everyone is having accidents these days and we should be much more careful when we are on the road now.. Wishing you a quick recovery.
Oh, sadun. I am shocked to hear this news now, and I am extremely sorry about your situation. I hope you will recover very soon. Get well soon, and don't forget to share anything with us if you need any help.
I'm feeling somewhat better now. I can move using crutches. But there's another surgery to follow to be able to apply weight on this leg. Let see..
Oooo, sorry to hear about that Malli! It's indeed a worst nightmare, and I am glad that you are holding things up... Hope you will fully recover soon.
If it's possible you can focus more on Steem, and if you anything here or otherwise feel free to ask!

Main remain why i hate delays if you were given the passport on time, you wouldn't have turned back and then get yourself in this, all the same, some will say that's what fate has in place, you will recover soon.. Just do what ease you off the stress
