Australia's healthcare system one of the best in the world provides free medical facility to its citizens but against all speculation it's not free for all. The health system is a mix of public and private sectors. The government provides Medicare to eligible citizens up to a fixed income bracket.

Even the citizens in higher income group are eligible to avail the healthcare services but on payment or covered by private health insurance.
