After a tiring day | Getting ready for the Christmas | 5% to SL Charity

All of us have hard days. It may be because of busy schedule or mental stress. I too had such a hard day; with a huge work load and uneasiness in mind. Actually it is not just a single day but several days came in a row. Now I am in the last few weeks of the semester so we are given assignments day by day. We are given enough time to do assignments but we start to do them at the last moment because we have plenty of them to do.

This day also I had an assignment. So, I turned on my laptop and started work in the morning. That day, mum and dad was not at home. I think there is no need to tell you about the days when mum is not at home. So, this day I was not in a good mood. But I had to do the assignment as the deadline was at midnight. I continuously worked from the morning and could finish it just before the deadline. Only 26 seconds before the deadline.

After that, I thought that I will take a day off for the day that I worked hard. So, I slept with that thought in mind.

In the next morning I forgot all the work that I have to do and started thinking about doing something which can make me happy. I remembered something that I was thinking for a long time. That was to make some felt crafts to the upcoming Christmas season.

I started my work by choosing appropriate colours for Christmas decors. I choose red, white, brown, green and some other colours that I felt good.

And then I studied some usual decors that they used and started my work. I made 12 cute crafts. A Santa, a rain deer, few stars, a Christmas tree and some others.

I cut the pieces from the fabric and sewed with a needle. I decorated these with some pearls of red, pink and white. I enjoyed making these a lot. More these were getting beautiful, the happier I was.

But these are very time consuming work, specially when doing them for the first time. You can see some cute tiny things, but only I know how much time and hard work I have done for them. But the most beautiful thing is that these cute things made me happy and satisfied at the end.
