Day with Mom

Yesterday in the morning my mom and me planned to go my grand ma home to bring her meal and medicine. At around 10 am, we arrive there. My mom's younger sister also came after few minutes. My mom and she decide the way of giving alms for my grandfather. It remembers me, my grandfather left us one year before.

Thero in the Welage pansala which locate in Allepola, Colombo-Badulla Road advise them to bring alms for the temple.
Because of the corona pandemic we cannot do the alms-giving like in the previous years.
My mom worries about that.

After discuss all the things we again came to home around 12 .30 p.m. On the way I bought two packets of Oats for prepare the breakfast for me. It is best meal for loss weight.

On the way we brought vegetables to prepare Oats. Normally I add carrot, leeks and onion when prepare it.
After long time I went to buy vegetables with my mom. I was surprised by hearing price of the vegetables. They are Soo expensive. I can remember in my childhood my father gave Rs.500 rupee for my mom to bring vegetables in Sunday firm. She bought lots of vegetables by spending that 500 rupee. But now situation is totally change. We can buy only 2-3 vegetables by using 500 rupees.

Now people earn more money but goods and services are expensive. Rs. 5000 rupees vanished by spending few of the goods. It is the bad situation which build up in Sri lanka. The value of the rupee lower day by day. Sri Lankan government have to prioritize to prevent that. As a Sri Lankan, individually commitment to build up economy in our mother land.
