Football Biography Contest || My Talented Friend: Christian Monday

This post serves as my entry to the World Of Football's Contest and I will be talking about my good friend by name Christian Monday.

Christian Monday is from Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. He is single, a sports lover, a football party excellence and a strong fan of Liverpool FC

I actually met Christian Monday during my High School days and ever since then, we bonded as a result of our passion for sports; football precisely. He was and still is a football lover. Not just being a football lover, he has the talent of playing football. Without mincing words, the boy is good with the ball and he plays number 10 exceptional.

We have played together a number of times and we have always made a good pair because we deliver. We were in the school team and he used to play number 10 while I played number 9. Many times we have played with other High schools and Christian has always been quite instrumental in our winning days. One particular thing about Christian is the zeal, passion and believe he has that he will get to play at a professional level someday in his life.

After High School, I never took playing football seriously but this wasn't the case for this my friend. He joined other Football Teams, was consistent in training and he is improving everyday. He has participated in many tournaments in his community and at the State level and he's been performing well. In some occasions, he has won best player and highest goal scorer of the tournament.

In 2018, I called him to come play with me in a competition in my community. He contributed largely in the team but sadly, we came second place after being defeated in the final. It was sad but a great experience.

One of those times, someone faked as an agent and came to his team. After the training, Christian was being selected. The boy was so excited and he gathered some money to facilitate the process. Having spent some money, he later discovered that it was a scam. Even with this, he is still very zealous and high-spirited. I want to use this medium to encourage him to keep training and striving. Who knows, one day, he might just have that encounter that will change his life forever.

To @the-gorrila, in case Reading FC is need of a youngster, Christian is very available! He is really talented, a good passer and team player.
