Contest ! @delightdear: Tell us about your favourite League in football

Hi everyone, @delightdear is my name, i was eagerly looking for this opportunity, thank you @njaywan for this opportunity. The already played Europa League final between Villarreal and Manchester United is my favourite League although my club failed, but i am not a partial fan so i congratulate Villarreal for their effort. The match was played at Stadion Miejski in Gdansk, Poland. I and my friend went to viewing center.
the match started by 8pm Nigerian time with Foyth, Albiol, Toreres, Pedraza etc playing for Villarreal with 4-4-2 formation i'm not familiar with their names while in my club Cavani, Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood, Pogba, Mc Tominay, Shaw, Lindelof, Bailly, Wan-Bissaka and De Gea started for Manchester United with a 4-2-3-1 formation

In the first few minutes of the first half, Man-U was taking possession of the match with pressure on Villarreal in the 9th minutes of the match Foyth dispossess Rashford on the edge of the box with a strong challenge while he fell and strike his head in the knee of Pogba. Foyth had to receive treatment before the game continued. He returned to the field with bandage on his head

At about the 12 minutes Greenwood sends a low cross towards the near post but was cleared by Capoue. At about 17 minutes, Foyth was still struggling with his head injury and required further treatment. The match went on with Man U being in more possession of the ball but failing in goal attempt. Cavani brings down Parejo half side and gave Villrreal a free-kick in a useful position.

Gerared Moreno netted the ball at about 29min.with the assistance of Daniel Parejo in the first half of the game.

The goal made Man U coach to react, he was furious with his team for not giving in their best in the field. The game did not suit the style of United and they were still forcing to pose a threat to Villarreal side.2 min.was given at 45min. Greenwood sends a cross towards Cavani in an attempt to locate the net, Albiol deflected it towards Rulli to claim. The first half ended with 1:0: Villarreal1: 0 Man U.

In 45min.into the second half, the referee awarded a yellow card to Capoue and a freekick was awarded to Man U. Fernandes took the free kick and lifted the ball into the box perharps for Mc Tominay but his effort was deflected. Cavani equalises with a close range strike assisted by Tominay making the match 1:1.

At about 61min.Villarreal made their first change, Coquelin came in to replace Bacca.. Torres makes a vital block to prevent Cavani heading the balk into the net. Alcacer came into field to replace Pino. Rashford got a pass from Cavani in the 81min and got inside to net the balk but he placed it wide outside the left post. Bailly had a yellow card as well Foyth. He gives Man U a free kick , Fernandes took the free kick into the bot but was away from goal.
At the end of 90min, 3min extra time was given and the match end with 1:1. Additional 30min was given for a winner to emerge amongst the two teams.

A free kick was awarded to Villareal caused by Bailly , Parejo crossed the ball towards the post and De Gea claw it. villarreal won a free kick at 106min into the second half of the extra time. Cavani protested and was given a yellow card. Additional 30min was given to show tough the game was yet we still had 1:1. All the players in both teams netted the ball except De Gea who lost to Rulli, that was how Villarreal won my club. The match ended with 11:10. It was an interesting match though i was not happy but my team puts in their best. I am waiting for Chelsea on Saturday. Thank you at @njaywan for this contest.
