RE: āSteemit Quiz 2025 - Weeks 15/16
Question 1
š½ Food and Drinkšŗ
I went to my friend's place yesterday and decided to cook this:
Can you identify the dish and name its five basic ingredients?
Spaghetti Carbonara?
Pasta, meat, cheese, eggs, black pepper.
ā You're correct. It is carbonara. Could you specify which types of meat and cheese are traditionally used in this dish?
Pork:
Guanciale (cheek) or Pancetta (belly). Both has to be air-dried!
Cheese:
Pecorino. Nothing else!
Itās NO teamās point but Hiraās vote.
Thank you for the question!!!
ā Thatās exactly the details I was looking for. You get half the point, but of course, the full point goes to NO team nonetheless š
Apologies for the question - maybe not the best timing. But just to clarify, Iām not Catholic and donāt follow traditional Lent practices...
HƤ? Now don't get weird... Great question at exactly the right time.
I think Muslims can also answer questions about pork, even though they don't eat it. I "have to" read articles about sheep being sacrificed... ;-)
Catholics and Good Friday you mean? Well. If you're very devout, you don't eat meat on that day, but you're certainly allowed to read about it... ;-)
You're right. I should've realised thatš¤¦āāļø - makes perfect sense now...

Off-topic:
Where's your wƶrdel?!
Oh, now that you mention it. Unfortunately, the word courier is late. You can't rely on the delivery service these days...
Okay, I had some issues that only let me use the computer for comments at most. I didn't even manage to post happy Easter greetings including my brand new lambs. What comes around, comes around. Or not... ;-)
That can't be good - no wƶrdel, no steemit for me...

Oh boy, another bunch of cuties. I wonder what their names are this time. Seriously, all of this is making me think about owning a goat myself⦠I mean, I heard their milk tastes⦠interesting.
Ummm, I would use chicken and parmesan. But you might have added pork...?
You're right about the pork, but traditionally, which cut do Italians use?
I have no idea. Google says cheeks. š
That's correct!
Chriddi nailed the detail for you š
I did for our team. But itās your vote, of course!
No question for a Muslim - and you wonāt ever ask which meat is best for Eid, will you?⦠;-)
You are right. š
With us, the lambs are only allowed to play āgrill lambsā... š
They are soooo cute! And very dirty after this funny game. Auntie Kleiner Onkel is not amused...
