RE: No Idea? - NO Wördel!

in NO Community6 days ago

The extra complexity of Quördel makes it more difficult. I already have to concentrate very, very hard to match the letters properly in Wördel.
It would be possible if we played in pre-determined teams of four people. Then I would do 2-3 sets per article, no more. And the four people for each set would have to pay close attention to each other. That alone is not possible for many users... ;-)

Our small group is quite manageable... ;-)
I still have hope that there are still Steemians who look at their feed. I couldn't just focus on one or more communities. Too much crap. So I look at the (few) communities in which I have a role (where I act, e.g. read, vote, mute... simply: consider EVERYONE) and my feed. That's all. That's normal! Everything else is not normal... ;-D
I wouldn't publish SCRABBLE anywhere other than in DU. Unless we play it with an English board - in that case, however, I would be useless as a Hahnsen... ;-)
And actually I don't like the idea of just playing on Steemit and letting the lovely No-No degenerate into a pure gambling hell...

We'd still mute everybody

Well, that's probably the minimum requirements that we will agree on for eternity... ;-D

I'd want to be all 4 people 😆

It sounds like I do similar to you. I have a few communities where I make sure that I check and read everything. More often than not, I'll comment too (unless the content's boooooring). At the moment, they're all quite quiet so it's not difficult. And then I'll look at my feed whilst I sit with one of the-little-gorilla's, waiting for them to sleep. Which normally means that i only read English content at this point.

Ah yes, of course Scrabble needs to be in DU 🙂

Well, that's probably the minimum requirements that we will agree on for eternity... ;-D

The downvotes are fun too 🚩

Haha, I would react the same way. And I know why... I know your attitude and I'm actually happy that we are very similar in this respect too.

Yes. Good. I still think it's normal. And it's also normal to ban users from the feed who have completely changed their content as soon as they were sure of enough auto-votes... 🤨
Henry also gave me a very detailed answer on the subject. Who knows, maybe I'll change my mind. I don't necessarily have to go down in Steemit history as a conservative, eccentric old aunt... 🤪

The downvotes are fun too 🚩

They are indeed the satisfying compensation for all the daily, important thoughts and nightmares around Steem that no other idiot seems to have...

Btw, do you have any contact that can influence rme to stop the h-g autovotes for these vile AI-PUSS reports as well as the stupid summaries of "supported" shit?

There's one user that I always think of with this. She was extremely active in WOX when she joined and then she became a moderator with the xiplar team's curation trail. Now, she'll write 20 words and upload a few photos. It makes me so sad to see this.

Henry also gave me a very detailed answer on the subject.

I need another link please Auntie C. 🙂

Hmm... I think that the stupid summary shit is a way of compensating some users for the work they do coding steemwatcher and thier PussFi coin. If it was up to me, I'd get all of the h-g votes in those communities turned off altogether and use that power for something more beneficial. I've hinted at that before and I don't think that I'll get anywhere if I push for it.

Ah, this cute faced lady from your island...
There is another common "friend" of us in WoX.
In fact there are a lot of them (including the "bosses").
Ouch.
We want no bad vibes in NO Community - we want good mood and fun. If necessary, we are just 4-5 users with the same interest in building a Steem world the way we like it... I don't care anymore... 🤷‍♀️

another link

Just read the dialogue underneath Word 08 in the current Wördel.

I'd get all of the h-g votes in those communities turned off

Au, argh, oooh - bad vibes, bad, bad vibes... 😉

Yes, her. It's such a shame. She was so good. Now, I don't even look any more. And as you say, she's not alone in that respect. In some cases, you can see the schedule. This post happens on a Tuesday. This report happens on a Wednesday. This contest happens on a Thursday... I understand... I used to do it when I was doing all of my Fantasy Sports contests... then I also created a dedicated profile for this purpose so that my followers would continue following!

And given the lack of easily findable and readable content, I've got @curator-helper up and running again! I suspect that I'll need to filter out a lot of trash that's built up since I last used it but it's given me a few gems already. (usual rules - posts I've not already voted on and hasn't been found by a steemcurator account.)

Do such people realise that they are being watched in addition to receiving what they speculate about and that attentive users like you and I find them nothing but despicable? I mean, what kind of shitty reputation is that?

Thanks for the positive energy and the rememberance to the curator-helper and the cool times we spent together with him... 😉

Oh, I don’t know… I don’t look. I wonder if they still receive comments with their uninspired content but also know there are too many beggars for them not to.

I’d forgotten how good curator-helper is. The top content is stuff I genuinely want to read so it’s a good reminder for me to run it more often!

Perhaps this is the first step to reuniting the NO curation team 🤔
