RE: 👍 Weekly Downvote Compensation Post - Target: $33.99

How about adding a couple of comments to be upvoted under these weekly posts?

So users with smaller votes could vote these comments too, besides the post.As an example my vote at 100% voting power barely adds 0.02$ it doesn't even refresh the payout value.

Adding a couple more comments so I could upvote them and raise the 0.02$ to 0.10$-0.15$ (which again isn't much) would make my small vote help more.

You could use the payouts of these comments as a helping fund/emergency fund if you need to help people that were downvoted.

I think this must not be - it could be considered spam and anger other envious people.
If we stick together as a community, what we have is enough. We just need a few more people to get involved and not put on blinders.
Who immediately joined in supporting @bullionsavers? Yes, you can also (and especially) pat yourself on the back for that as a "little plankton"! Every drop helps! Only together are we strong! And anything is better than looking the other way...

Well I think he said that he is not using @bullionsavers anymore:

So I removed my delegation from that one (since it is not used anymore), wanted to ask if maybe a delegation directly to the main account (@the-gorilla) could help?

I think we can get some SP delegated, maybe even steemcurator could help since gorilla is doing so much for the platform and helped in so many cases.

I truly appreciate that you'd like to do more and your delegation to bullionsavers meant a lot.

I've typed and retyped this part of my reply 10 times already. I'm obviously finding words difficult to come by at the moment.

First off - bullionsavers...

I liked that idea and in many ways, I still do. But it was all manual.

Because bullionstackers likes to downvote 12 hours before payout, the corresponding upvote needs to come immediately. This is only effective if the voting power and Resource Credits are at an appropriate level. Consistently.

This vote could have been automated, but bullionstackers' games would have inevitably involved him downvoting his own accounts (yes, he has loads - he once had a delegation from Steemit which he lost because he used it to reward farm).

Then there's the 12 hours. So instead of auto voting whatever he downvoted, I manually found something more recent to upvote. Which gave him time to recharge his downvoting power and the cycle continued. Every day. A manual downvote / upvote war that benefits absolutely nobody and from a personal point of view is totally destructive to the enjoyment I've recently rediscovered on this platform.

I also believe that every upvote that counters his downvotes gives him the joy - the idea that he's upsetting somebody. That's why it's reached this level. I reacted. Which I won't do again.

He's alone. He has NOTHING good here. Every post or comment that is written to compensate or help others will be attacked by him. It's his fuel and his energy. He craves nothing more than attention - any attention. Like a 3 year old whose mother is trying to talk to somebody else.

This post will still give him a moment to feel that in some perverse way, that he is special, like his mother always told him he was. But every other day of the week, he'll have nothing to wake up for. He'll be all alone again and he won't suck the energy from people like us any more.

Ja, I think he said so. I was just to busy to remove the delegation. It's okay that now that bullionstacker has realised it I am his next target... ;-D

You should ask Gorilla himself if a delegation to his account is helpful (in this special case). In my opinion it's not. I think the gorilla's account(s) has to be torn out of focus. In my opinion we need an account fed by the community. But until this will work, we still have to think a little bit to find a good solution that matches to the idea of many. Fact is that the focus cannot stay at one person. That makes him/her/us/our mental health vulnerable. That's not good.

Of course it's always nice when sc helps. But I think that makes a lot of us "lazy" and "not caring". You know, like "sc does it, thank godness, it's not 'my' affair anymore". I hate this attitude. I am a stubborn in this case and I want the community to understand that this is a community affair.

Well...

Sorry, @the-gorilla, now I cannot answer your replies anymore - the time limit, the time limit... See you tomorrow... ;-)

Let me know if I can help
