RE: Would some random votes improve the ecosystem?

in Suggestions Club22 hours ago

When curating, I usually follow three different strategies: with my private account, I vote for posts that really appeal to me. With the community account, I vote for posts that are published by us and for posts by our regular authors all over the Steem. With the charity account... Well, of course it's mainly for charity. But I also give out random votes. Small votes, as the account is not yet ‘rich’ in SP. But randomly. And I think I can see the effects: the respective authors write more carefully, more thoroughly. Whether it makes them better writers... Probably not. But the effort behind a post increases noticeably. The images become better, fewer repetitions are a noticeable improvement. What I want to say: positive reinforcement certainly doesn't only work in dog training ;-)) So if larger stakeholders could decide to do this, a lot would be gained in my eyes. The problem is probably the immense time factor involved... However, you're on the right track!
