Assalamu Alaikum.
Hello everyone,
I am @sojib1996

From #Bangladesh

How are you all? I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah I am fine too. Today I will be taking part in a beautiful contest of the Steem Fashion&Style community. This contest name is "Eid card for friends.

Thank you so much Ma'am @drhira for organizing such a beautiful event

While participating in this beautiful contest, I remembered my childhood. I used to invite my friends to Eid through these Eid cards. Although we used to get some kind of joy from it, I used to give these cards to my close friends and wish them through it.

Did you made card for your friends in childhood?

Yes, I used to make Eid cards for my friends when I was young and I used to invite them to Eid and wish them Eid. I used to wish them, Eid, by writing rhymes inside or on the top of the card. I used to make it in different ways with thick cards and multiple pens, with the help of glitter.

Any special ancetode related with Eid card.

There was a special predecessor of greetings related to Eid cards. we used it in the previous days (the 1990s), but according to history, this Eid card was introduced earlier and Eid greetings were sent as letters through it. However, since the era is now modern, Eid cards are no longer in use.

While making this Eid card, I used to give money inside the Eid card as a tip to my friend, which I have shown in the picture. Greetings were sent through rhymes in these Eid cards. I still remember a greeting rhyme, the rhyme is – “That white buck flies in the sky, Eid Mubarak is written on its back”.

How is your experience while making this special card?

Yes, the experience of making this special card is quite good and full of joy. Since this card was made by hand, it was a great medium for creativity.

Eid Mubarak was written on thick cards with different designs and different colored pens and glitter, and this card could be made in one part or two parts. It used to be done in its way along with greetings and Eid invitations through beautiful rhymes on the card.

I would like to invite my friends @abdullahw2 @ahsansharif and @robertorrivas to take part in the contest.

Best Regards, @sojib1996
