Step- I

Arrange Ingredients
1000121811.jpg1000121809.jpg
Chopped Onion
Chopped Green Chilli

To prepare today's special item, I first gather the main ingredients. I washed the potatoes before peeling them so that they were clean before peeling. Then I chopped the green chillies and onions. You can use any onion you like in this recipe and the more onion you add, the crispier the pakoras will be.

Step-II

1000121799.jpgPeeled Potatoes
1000121803.jpgPeeled Beetroot

In this step, first I peeled the potatoes. Then I peeled the beetroot. If you want, you can prepare it without peeling the potatoes, but the potato skin will get crispy quickly while frying and the inside will not fry well, so it is better to peel the potatoes. The beetroot must be peeled and washed thoroughly before peeling.

Step-III

1000121839.jpg1000121843.jpg

Grated Potatoes and Beetroot

Then I finely grated the potatoes with the help of a grater. And in the same way I grated the beetroot. Today's recipe - the main ingredients are potatoes and beetroot. Also, this step is the most time-consuming and difficult to prepare this recipe.

Step- IV

1000121826.jpg1000121827.jpg

Add Dry Ingredients

I have added the above mentioned amount of dry ingredients. I first added salt and chili powder to the chopped onion and chilies. Here I have used less chili powder because I have used enough chopped green chilies. I have added dry chili powder for its flavor. I added some more dry ingredients. Coriander powder, cumin powder.

Step-V

Add Egg

I have added an egg in this step. Try to use room temperature eggs because if you use frozen eggs, they often react after being heated. If you want, you can add vanilla essence here to remove the egg smell, but since I have added enough spices, I am not using any additional essence.

Step- VI

1000121831.jpg1000121832.jpg
1000121835.jpg1000121836.jpg

Add Flours

In this step, I added the above mentioned amount of rice flour and gram flour. I added rice flour because it will make my pakora crispy, so I added more rice flour than gram flour.

Step- VII

1000121837.jpg1000121846.jpg

Add lemon juice and mint leaves

I added a little lemon juice to prevent the egg smell. I mixed the lemon juice and chopped mint leaves well. Then I let it rest for a while.

Step- VIII

1000121847.jpg
1000121849.jpg1000121852.jpg

mixing all the ingredients

I have washed the grated beetroot and potatoes well. After washing, I have extracted the water well from here because if there is extra water, the mixture will become too liquid due to which the pakoras cannot be fried in oil. In this case, you can leave the fan to dry the water or you can press the excess water well with your hands. Here I have extracted the water well with my hands. Then I have mixed the grated beetroot and potatoes well with the mixture and a smooth mixture has been made.

Step- IX

1000121862.jpg1000121869.jpg

Deep fry the Pakora

Finally, I heated oil in a pan and fried the round pakoras in it. After they turned brown, I took them out and served them with tomato sauce.
