The Diary Game || 05-05-2025 || Taking care of the land and working factory duties on the same day – a real touch of life.

How are you all? I hope you are well. By the grace of God, I am also well. 👉 Today I want to share with you my daily activities on Monday, 05-05-2025.

My duty on Monday was from 2 pm to 10 pm. But that day I had to go to the village in the morning because I had bought some land with a lot of difficulty (which I have shared with you earlier). Now the work of cutting the soil around that land is going on. I have to go there occasionally to observe the work and pay the workers. I have decided that after a few days, I will fill the land with sand.

After buying some food from the shop for my cousin's children in the village, I left for the village. After waiting for the car on the Sylhet highway, I got into the car and went to our Sonargaon area. From there, I went straight along the village road to my land.

After reaching the land, I was feeling a headache due to the intense sun. Still, I observed the work of cutting the soil for a while. Then I talked to those who were working and gave them some money as remuneration. They were also resting then. After finishing the work, I went to my aunt's house. There I saw that the mango tree had mangoes and the lemon tree had also produced many lemons. Sitting under the shade of the tree, I rested for a long time.

Then my cousin's son—that is, my nephew—brought me a ripe mango to eat. Then I went to the other side of the field in search of my aunt. When I got there, I saw that my aunt had cooked rice and overcooked it. She was putting the cooked rice on a perforated tin and pressing it with her hand and putting it in a basket. After a few days, it would be cooked with sweets (sweets or jaggery) and eaten.

After finishing all the work, I walked around the rice field for a while. I was wondering when the rice would be harvested. At that time, the sky became cloudy, and light raindrops started falling. Since my duty would start at 2 pm, I left the village around 12 pm. On the way to the road, there is a mango orchard by the side of the road in our area, where I sat and rested for a while. Then I got into the car and drove to my current address, Rupganj.

While coming along the road, I saw coconuts being harvested from coconut trees in our area. When I asked the coconut seller the price, he said, “These coconuts have already been sold; they cannot be sold.” So I could not buy any more coconuts. After finishing my lunch, I went to the factory. Since it had rained a little, I went to see how the brinjal and chilli plants I had cultivated were doing. When I went, I saw that the plants were doing well and growing properly.

Then after 2:30 pm, I got into the car and started working. First, I gave the plastic granules to the section for making chemicals and bottles as per the requisition. Then I worked continuously in the factory till evening. After work, my daughter took the pledge—she wanted to eat burgers. So I prayed Maghrib, went to the local market, and bought a burger for him for 100 taka. He happily ate the burger to his heart's content.
