SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 28

Hello dear friend...
I bring you warmth greetings from my own part of the world Nigeria, it's a pleasure to be in this great community and to also participate on this week contest organised by @ashkhan, God bless your efforts ma'am.

The boy Daniel.

With me today is a picture of a boy that always captured my heart with deep emotions, coz whenever I came across boy pictures on my phone, my heart will always moved, with great of how heartless some men can be, I'm a Man but I always think about that each time I see the boy picture on my phone.

The boys name is Daniel, he's now seven years old, Daniel's mother passed away when he was just one year seven months old, he doesn't even know his mother, he was still young.

Her marriage with Daniel's father was just this Abuja marriage(street marriage), no introduction to know her parents talk of paying bride price, after her death Daniel's father, as we popularly known him as Mopol has no sympathy for the boy.

Because of the close relationship my grandmother kept with Daniel's mother as neighbours, so on a faithful day, Daniel's father (mopol) came and dropped the child with my grandmother, ever since then Mopol has been nowhere to be found, before he use to come around, but it's been 6 years now, all efforts to reach him to come and carry his son proved abortive.

Some of his friends said they use to see him and also talk to him but the man showed less concerned, No sending of money or other materials for the child's well-being, it's very cruelty of him though, it's so sad Daniel fathers abandoned his child knowing fully the mother is late, may God have mercy on this Man and may Daniel's future be bright.

So whenever I came across the boy (Daniel) picture gat me moved with emotions, both sadness and joy, the joy part is that the boy is healthy and sound because when the mother died he was just a little boy, nobody thought he'll grow this extent but look at him now he's pushing up, You all should pray, for Daniel's to have a great and brighter future, he's currently in primary 2 and he's very intelligent, so I find this picture very interesting thought to share with you all and what's happening in the life of this little boy. Hopefully in the nearest future I will share with you all his success in the nearest future.
