Hello folks, so here with me is a drawing of a beetroot, this work was done from a reference image I found online, it is down below this post.

The Beetroot is a colorful root vegetable that’s easy to recognize because of its deep red or purple color. It grows underground like carrots and potatoes, and when you cut it open, it releases a bright red juice that can stain your hands, clothes, and even your chopping board.

Beetroot has a sweet and slightly earthy taste. Some people love it raw in salads, while others prefer to boil, roast, or blend it into juices and smoothies. You can also find beetroot powder, which is often added to drinks and foods for extra nutrition and color. Some even use beetroot in baking, like in chocolate cakes, to add moisture and a hint of sweetness.

Apart from its taste and color, beetroot is packed with health benefits. It’s rich in fiber, which helps with digestion. It contains important vitamins like vitamin C, folate, and iron. One of the biggest benefits of beetroot is how it helps improve blood flow. It contains natural nitrates, which help relax blood vessels and make it easier for the heart to pump blood. This is why many athletes drink beetroot juice before workouts it’s believed to help boost stamina and energy.

Beetroot may also help lower blood pressure and improve brain function by increasing blood flow to the brain. Plus, it’s good for your skin because of the antioxidants it contains.

Progress work

Below are my progress work from start to finish, beetroot is more than just a colorful vegetable. It’s tasty, versatile, and loaded with health benefits. Whether you’re eating it in a salad, drinking it as juice, or adding it to a smoothie, beetroot is a great way to add color and nutrition to your meals.

I started adding color to my work jn this stage, by using my crayon, crayon is a very difficult medium but I have figure ways on how to use it without feeling off.
