Week 40 of the SFS Contest! Draw a Melon!

STEPS

With the pencil, draw the melon. This step is very simple since it is the beginning and does not have many details to explain, but now comes the part of giving life to this fruit with the colors..

One reason why I decided to choose this image of the melon to recreate is because it looked quite strong and striking in color. I started with dark green for the skin of the melon, to be honest I didn't think it through and colored everything in green and after I realized the lines that the skin has, I should have marked them before but well it was already colored, then with yellow and orange I colored inside on each side and center in the seeds of the fruit.

Here I had to use the eraser to make some lines on the green part of the fruit, the skin, to be able to color it a little more similar to the fruit. With the brown, I marked the lines, maybe it didn't turn out the same as I wanted, but that's how we learn. Then I colored one of the pieces of melon in yellow and orange, the inside and outside in light green, and the lines in brown.

This is a final step of the drawing, color the other piece of melon using the same color tones used before, with the green mark each outline of the fruit on the inside and blur it a little inwards.
