SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 14

I can't still believe it's been already a month since my friend's big day! The memories are still fresh in me and the pictures bring it all back.

The Big Day: September 7, 2024

This was a special day for my friend, his family, and me. We'd been waiting like forever for the day to come! At 2 pm on September 7, the moment finally arrived.

Getting Ready

I put on my best outfit and headed to the event with my family. The 30-minute drive felt like a two hours drive 😁😁; I was too excited! I took photos along the way, beaming with the joy I had.

Arrival and Celebration

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was clear and beautiful thoe rain Fell already that mornig. But now the sun began shining making the environment cool and beautiful. Music filled the air, and the crowd enjoyed it so much. As a traditional marriage, food came first:

• Afang soup with eba (yum!)
• Jollof rice and soft drink
• Pounded plantain and meat

My stomach was full, but I was ready to dance.As the groom's friends, we hit the dance floor! Everyone was lost in the music till about half of the chairs was left single🤗. I danced as if nobody was watching me , imagine that kind of dance🙆 I dance with all my heart.

Unforgettable Moments

I took photos with friends, and we shared laughs. This was the best event I attended in September!

Why It Matters as my best day

My friend's marriage was more than just a celebration; it united two families. I felt honored to be part. And I learned valuable lessons that;Love conquers all. Friendship is precious.Family is everything.

September 7, 2024, will forever be in my memory. The laughter, music, and joy remain. I'm grateful for the experience.
