Happy New Year to all of you once again. I believe we are all fine as I am. Today, I have drawn a portrait of a beautiful Indian lady, and I am excited to give you the step-by-step process of this drawing. I appreciate @dequeen for organising this contest.

I drew the portrait of an Indian lady. I have also decided to make it a pure pencil sketch. This lady is beautiful with long coiled hair; she has also posted to showcase her beauty.

Below are the materials I used in drawing the portrait of a beautiful Indian lady and the step-by-step process.

Materials Used for Drawing

• A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began by drawing from the forehead of the lady down to her cheek and jaw. I also drew one of her ears. Finally, I sketched the top level of her hair.

Step 2
At this step, I started shading the hair of the woman.

Step 3
Here, I drew her earrings, and I also completed shading the coiled hair on her head. I shaded one of her shoulders on which she rested her head.

Step 4
I sketched her two eyes, and I took time to complete one of the eyes. On the completed eye. I drew the eyelid and eyelashes. I also drew her nose.

Step 5
I completed the second eye by drawing the eyelid and eyelash. I also gave a little shading on the two eyes.

Step 6
I drew her two eyebrows.

Step 7
I drew her mouth and shaded the lips appropriately.

Step 8
I shaded her face lightly with a 6B pencil and put the black dot on her forehead.

✅ How long did it take to complete your drawing, and how do you feel about it?

This drawing took me about two (2) hours to have it completed. I had to do a lot of cleaning at some point to help get what I presented today. I became very happy, and I felt accomplished at the end of the drawing.
