Stories, learnings and reflection #10
Today I will be participating in the Steem fashion contest.
As human beings that we are, on several cases and scenarios, we will always learn new things daily because we keep facing new experiences on a daily basis also. Today I will like to share with us one of the experiences I faced many years ago that actually changed my perspective about things and which I will like to talk about.
It was actually those days when I was still in the university. Of course every student in Nigeria, the journey is always tough and rough because you will have to attend to a lot of things. There are personal expenses you will have to attend to and many more. Most especially the aspect of the financial aspect.
I remember there was this particular day, I was sitting in the lecture room feeling devastated and losing hope because at that points things were really bad for me and my family financially. I opened up to one of my friend and which he acknowledged that he will help me out. His name is Ade.
Before the day ends, I saw some money in my bank account. It was Ade who has sent some funds as support for my school fees. I was super happy. One of the things that the act of kindness Ade showed to me is whenever you are in a position to help someone, always try to help that fellow because you might not know tomorrow.
Not only that, that single act of kindness makes me to understand that sometimes, the help we need can come from the least unexpected area we expect. I was not expecting that the financial help for my school fees will come from my classmates.
Till now, even after many years, the impact and the lessons I have learnt from the kindness still stay with me and I am not joking with it. I will like to add to someone that it always pays to show kindness to people no matter how small or big it might actually be. It pays to show kindness.
I invite @sahmie @pea07 @alexanderpeace, @dequeen @shahidalinaz and @ashkhan @yahnel and @m-fdo to drop a very constructive comments on this post and also to participate in this contest.

Wao! Nice story. Thanks for inviting me. Good luck
Yeah. You're right. It pays to show kindness to everyone around us, irrespective of their status. Nobody is small in the kingdom of generosity. The Bible has said it all, the more you give, show love and help, the more you receive. So, doing this is an amazing job and difficult for some folks since it's never their practice.
However, I'm grateful that you could recognize this atom of attitude express towards you. And don't forget to always show it out to others too.
