I think most of us left, either when we saw that only Chinese/Korean people are supported here, or when "Steemit Venezuela" (with massive $30 upvotes for anyone who identifies as Venezuelan) became an official community. Canadians are not welcome here and it has been made abundantly clear.
I'm willing to stick around but I'm not willing to see the up votes for shitty content on the site. I prefer reddit even though it's not as rewarding as this community is. Someone else said it best, when you realize this is full of bots and the it seems the developers don't care, you kind of lose interest. This is my second account on the platform, and I'm already regretting coming back.
