In This Time of Solstice, What Better Question To Ask?

AstVsAst.png

We have Modern Materialistic Science stating (without any evidence) that Astrology is mumbo-jumbo, woo-woo, pseudo-science at best. We have Christianity tell everyone to never even look at Astrology, because it is bad, wrong, evil, the devil's language. Men warn other men to avoid women who believe in astrology, because that is a sign she is cray-cray. So, why, with so much arrayed against astrology, does it continue to draw new people to study it?

Could it be that there is more to it than any scientist/christian would care to acknowledge?

Could it be that it gets things right, like a list of positive words can "accurately" describe anyone?

Or, is astrology a 5000 year old science, and astronomy, competitively is a piece of garbage that should have been thrown out with their always lying hierophants, NASA?

Sun sign astrology and guessing your birth month

I have seen it, often enough, in some spiritualist store, two ladies get to talking, and one says to the other "you are a Taurus, aren't you?" (or one of the other signs) And the other lady says, yes, how did you know?"

The thing is, to people who have deeply studied the sun signs (the most basic of basics, in astrology) that a person's persona, how they talk, what they like, how they relate, puts them squarely into one of the sun signs.

Like a Cancer loves hearth and home, and so talks about her family, and how she is nesting. While a Leo loves to be on the stage. Out there. Rarely wanting to be alone, or at home. If it was just these two, most people could accurately guess which is which. However, the twelve that there are actually quite distinct.

So, the ones who have taken the time to deeply learn the sun signs, can accurately guess which sun sign you are. This is akin to correctly guessing the month you were born based on your complexion. And if the person was better at guessing than 10%, that would be a miracle, a statistical anomaly. However, these people are usually about 80% accurate.

(Why not 100%? If given two guesses they would get close to 100%. As in, you can tell that the person is fire, earth, air or water quite clearly. But get which of the three signs (in each) that the person is. So, basically, with some people, you can't quite tell, but it is one of two, or on the outside, one of three. Which is damned near statistically impossible)

Astronomers vs Astrologers

There is a very weird situation in astrology. That many astronomers have become astrologers. In fact, many scientists go to disprove astrology, and if they are honest, they find out how intricate, and deeply interconnected everything is. The cycles within cycles attracts the scientific mind. And they are pulled in deep.

Whereas astronomers really do not know anything. They look at the planets, and the stars, and far away galaxies. And it is all pretty, but, if you really look there is so many questions. Questions that are tricky to answer, because they disprove what you think you know.

(Vera Rubins discovered something while looking at galaxies. These galaxies spin, all as one, like all the stars are glued to a plate. The inner stars do not go around the center faster than the outer stars. This is soooooo shocking, that Vera kept this secret for TEN!!!! years. And still, with ten years of compiled evidence that this was the case, everyone still called her a liar, demanded that she be thrown out, that she wasn't a real astronomer… )

Astrology on the other hand has several ways you can look at things, like the tropical Western chart, and the sidereal Vedic chart. Basically, which way is up. sorta… And there are charts where you put the sun at the center, instead of the earth. And, although there may be arguments about which is best, most astrologers are like, that's neat, how does that work? Do you like that way better?

Which is true?

Science like say that is based on facts, repeatable experiments, and logic.
Christianity like to say that the Bible is THE word of God.

And astrologers just say, often quietly, that it just works.

Astronomy is supposed to be a science, you know, facts and all, but currently they are SOOOO wrong, that it is impossible to imagine how wrong they are. Astronomy decided that gravity is what held the planets in place circling around the sun. And then decided that gravity, from a black hole is what held the galaxy together. However, they are only off by something like 10²³. Not by a little, but by so much that most people just wad up the paper and throw it in the dust bin.

Gravity doesn't work to describe accurately the plants going around the sun. So, they got Einstein to warp space, which only got part of the way there. And Hawking made up such crazy stuff, that got a little bit further. But we cannot make gravity work 100%.

Making gravity work for the galaxy is sooooo off, that they had to bring in "dark matter". Gravity causing stuff that you can't see or detect. And a lot of it!

Still, things are soooo bad, that there is a Flat Earth community. Because there is no real proof from astronomy. So many things do not make sense if we are living on a flying, spinning ball, that people have decided to try other theories. And it really doesn't help that NASA keeps lying, and lying, and lying and getting caught using green screens, and bubbles in space…

On the other hand, the Bible, especially if you get the most original text you can find and do your best to translate it, tells of a cosmos that actually seems to be quite accurate. But not completely. And not provably. There are people that say the Bible is wrong then (but where are they on unicorn particles?) and there are people who believe that we just aren't interpreting the Bible correctly.

However, the thing that really gets me about the Bible is how much of an astrology manual it is. If you do not know astrology, you are missing, as in NOT comprehending, a great chunk of the bible. In my opinion, the Bible is an astrology text. It is written in astrology.

So, those people who are telling the Christians to not learn astrology are telling them to not comprehend their holy book.

What a pain. And, mind you, that i am only briefly giving examples here. There is SOOOO much more about how unscientific astronomy is, and how much astrology there is in the Bible.

Astrology is a 5000 year old science (and maybe older)

Astronomy is really less than 100 years old. We haven't even set up a binocular telescope array, where we could see the structure of the universe and the pattern of the stars. (this thing would need to have two telescopes on opposite sides of the planet, or even better in wider orbits) When scientists started putting stars into a 3D perspective, they found that things were not haphazard, but are very structured. So, we really need that binocular telescope array to start really seeing.

The Bible is a real mess. It has knowingly been translated to give power to the King, abridged, translated again, changed, and a group of guys got together and decide which books would be in the Bible, and which would not. If we truly believed in the Bible, we would be gathering EVERY part and piece of it, and do our best to reconstruct all of it. But, like i said, the clergy still tell everyone to avoid astrology, which is necessary to comprehend that book.

And, well, astrologers really don't help, as so many of them are wayyyyy out there. Pot smoking hippies, people who see angels, people who talk to fairies, witches, wiccan, and so many others, that are just incredulous.

This is strange, because the real astrologers (they ones who know more than just the sun signs) are actually very mathematical and rigorous. Working out someone's chart used to be a lot of math (computers made it much simpler).

One last thing. Sure, putting the sun at the center of the solar system make things appear to be simple. The orbits are all ellipses. However, if you plot the orbits from the earth as the center, all the planets sweep out beautiful, flower like patterns.
