At the end the lesson students should be able to:-
- Define Mask; and it's function
- State at least four (4)

A chart showing picture of different mask and masquerade.
Introduction:-
The teacher introduces the lesson thus:- There's been an urgent need of recent for the use of face mask as a way help coup the rate at which the Corona virus also known as COVID 19 spreads.
Presentation:-
Step 1:- Definition of Mask:-
A mark is a covering or partial cover for the face used to disguise. They are usually made out of woods and have different types of designs depending on the cultural background of the community. Every clan or community in the African Traditional culture.
Moreover, with the advent of a new disease, the definition of mask will not be only restricted to wooden mask but the medical or surgical mask.
Step 2:- Characteristics of the Rain forest.
Trees have thin barks:-
Most of the trees have thin bark to enhance gaseous exchange and transpiration.Functions of face mask:- The face mask has a few function which it serves. Some of the functions include:
a. Wooden and cultural mask is used for appeasing the gods.
b. It serves as community signature.
c. it is used as covering for the nose and mouth
d. It is also used to prevent us from being exposed to germ and other airborne diseases.
Evaluation:-
The teacher ask the students questions to examine the level of their understanding:-
- Define the term mask; and
- Explain at two (2) functions of the face mask
Homework:-
- Draw pictures of a mask used in your culture or tribe.
- Explain the functions of a mask.
