We are starting a new regular contest, which will be dedicated to colors and their harmonious combinations. In each stage, we will give you a task-color, and we will wait for you to post photos of objects of this color. Also, the post of each stage will give information about the color theory.

Мы начинаем новый регулярный конкурс, который будет посвящен цветам и их гармоничным сочетаниям. На каждом этапе мы дадим вам задание-цвет, и будем ждать, пока вы опубликуете фотографии объектов этого цвета. Кроме того, пост каждого этапа будет давать информацию о теории цвета. В заданиях мы будем двигаться от центра цветового круга к его краям. Выбирать цвета, от самых простых к более сложным.

The whole color theory is at the heart of the Itten color wheel, which you can see in the picture. The Itten circle is a 12-color scheme. All the hues in the outer circle are derived from the three colors located in the center-red, yellow, and blue. Primary colors are those colors that, when mixed subtractively, give us all the other colors except white. The Itten Circle is the most popular tool for graphic designers and artists. It can be used to select color combinations in clothing and interior design.

In the tasks, we will move from the center of the color circle to its edges. Choose colors, from the simplest to the most complex.

Вся теория цвета лежит в основе цветового круга Иттена, который вы можете видеть на картинке. Круг Иттена — это схема из 12 цветов. Все оттенки во внешнем круге получены из трёх цветов, расположенных в центре - красный, желтый и синий. Today we will look at one of the three primary colors located in a triangle in the center of the circle - yellow. When mixing yellow and red, we get an orange color, when mixing yellow and blue, we get a green color.
