Semen is the thick fluid that comes out of men when they ejaculate.Some people especially ladies find it pleasing to take in or swallow
semen.People have do not quite understand why ladies do this.It is belived that ladies do this because of the nutritional content of
semen.Several studies have shown that semen contains several nutrients that is useful in the human body.Some of the nutrients that
semen conatin includes,viamin c,melatonin,magnesium,zinc,pottasium,sodium,protein and so many other nutrients that the human body
finds very useful.These nutrients contained in semen when injested,has it's special way of helping the body.

One of the content of semen is melatonin.Melatonin is hormone that regulates and induces sleep and relaxtion.The intake of melatonin
has been proven to be useful in the treatment of several ailments like insomnia,depression and jet lag.When a person finds it very difficult
to sleep,it is likely that such a person has insomnia which means that the body of such a person may be lacking melatonin.Semen which
is rich in melatonin can be of great help to a patient suffering from insomnia.
SEMEN HELPS BEAT DEPRESSION
Studies have shown that wowen who were directly exposed to semen were less depressed.Semen contains several hormones that helps improve
our moods.Semen contains mood-improving hormones like testosterone,prolatin,lutenising hormones,follicle stmulating hormones and several
other hormones that boosts mood.
PROVIDES THE BODY WITH PROTEIN
Just one teaspoon of sperm containns over 200 proteins.Protein has many roles in the human body.Protein helps in repairing and building
bidy tissues,it allows metabolic reactions to take place in the body.Protein also helps in coordinating bodily function.
These and many more are the reasons semen is injested or swallowed by women.Regardless of the advantages of swallowing semen,there is
a downside.Swallowing the semen of an infected person exposes one to sexually tranmitted diseases.
It is advised for sexual partners to get tested for STD's before engaging in sexual activities.
