RE: Incredible India monthly contest of June#1|Old Vs New!

So you farm?

I enjoyed reading the old vs new debate. Fills me with nostalgia.

You have shared your experience with your grandma. I agree with you that grandmas tell the best stories. They have their way of making us (grandkids) happy with their special foods, advices and treats.

You've also mentioned that you miss the old ways. I don't think I miss the old ways that much. Particularly when we consider how tedious it was too make pounded yam, process garri or manage our gardens.

Or getting stuck with traditional jobs and less pay.

Right now, it takes less than an hour to make most traditional homemade meals. I just need a cooker, blender/pounder or half-processed product to get lunch ready.

Then, I can interact with anyone in the world from my bedroom.

This gives me more time to do more productive stuff like Steem, work and spend time with the little ones.

Like you have pointed out, the debate about the old vs new is complex. We just need a middle point to strike the balance.

Thank you for the invite. Wishing you all the best in the contest.

Exactly! Yes I farm, and while I cherish the memories and traditions, i also appreciate how technology and modern conveniences have made life easier. It's great that we can now enjoy traditional meals with less hassle and have more time for other important. Now I can farm, cook, and still have time to steem😊

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts.♥️
